Hello and welcome to our website! I've made this website primarily because Coco, my little princess, is currently expecting
her first litter with Toby! The puppies should be here in August and when they come we will be posting a plethora of baby
pictures. I figured this would be a good way for perspective parents to take a look at our lil ones but also to familarize
themselves more with us and with the chihuahua breed. Chihuahuas are wonderful lil balls of love and joy but they can also
be a handfull! I hope you will take a look at all the information and stories about our chihuahuas and other dogs as well.
[we aren't breedists here!] Chihuahuas make wonderful companions and we love ours so much it's hard to even think of them
as dogs. They are our babies and best friends.
Our chihuahuas are all longhaired chihuahuas. Longhaired chihuahuas are not a seperate breed from their more well known
smoothcoat [shortcoat] brothers and sisters but they are in a seperate judging categorty when it comes to showing. Longhaired
chihuahuas are often confused for Papillions, who are larger and have much bigger ears, and Pomeranians who have a much fuller
and stiffer coat. We chose longhaired chihuahuas for aesthetic reasons, they look adorable and they are very soft, but also
because they actually shed less than smoothcoat chihuahuas despite the longer fur! They do not require extensive grooming
as many longhaired breeds do and simple bathing and occasional brushing is all that is required to maintain their coat.
